The Wedding

Aaron and Sarah chose Tobago for their wedding celebrations — a wonderful week of romance, dance, family and friends in Tobago.

April was a special month at Top O' Tobago.

We celebrated the wedding of Aaron Ayers, Camille's nephew, to Sarah Diaz.

Aaron and Sarah both live in Toronto, Canada, but they chose Tobago for their wedding celebrations.

It was a wonderful Tobago week of romance, dance, family and friends…

There wasn't enough time to explore the northern end of Tobago, or, many of the waterfalls.

Welcome Party at Top O' Tobago

It was wonderful to get to know Sarah's family, who were originally from El Salvador, and many of their friends from Venezuela and elsewhere in Latin America.

We reunited with family members from Trinidad, Canada, the US and France.

We marvelled at Sarah and Aaron's wedding tango.

We revelled in family bonds and friendships that dated back to elementary school.

Aaron's grandmother, Hyacinth, encouraged all to "Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think."

The families united:

Tobago shone through. The services provided were highly professional. The church choir was strong and melodious. The children played for hours at Pigeon Point. The food was second to none. The mini bus drivers were always punctual and polite. Our guests were impressed. We were so proud of Tobago.

Thank you Aaron and Sarah for choosing Tobago as your wedding venue. It was a delight and inspiration to participate in helping you to launch your new life together. You are so much in love and starting off with such optimism and courage. It gives hope to all of us.
